Those eyes. Those curves. That mouth. And, oh, the way she dresses! Those are just a few reasons why we can't get Jennifer Lopez out of our minds. Last year was an incredible one for Jennifer. Early on, she made history by debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart (J.Lo) and the box office (The Wedding Planner)--in the same week! Then, at the end of 2001, La Lopez retained her title as Hollywood.com's Sexiest Female Star, claiming 15.5 percent of your votes and the hearts (and libidos) of all red-blooded America. Gone are the days when J.Lo was the butt of endless jokes about her famous derriere. (Mmm, that famous derriere.) Like a force of nature, the former Fly Girl has taken on the world of movies and music, even giving a nod to a certain Material Girl on her single, "Love Don't Cost a Thing." As her Out of Sight director Steven Soderbergh gushed: "It's not just that she's beautiful--she's charismatic. It's an energy, an activity behind the eyes that's so compelling. When you look at her onscreen, you're interested. She just has that star thing." Oh, we're interested all right. Very interested. How She Did in Our Poll Last Year: This is J.Lo's world and we're just visiting. The multi-talented singer/actress/dancer finished first last year in our poll and successfully defended her crown this year. Way to go, J.Lo! Sexiest Role: Lopez solidified her leading lady status as Federal Marshall Karen Sisco opposite George Clooney in Steven Soderbergh's subtly steamy action thriller Out of Sight. Displaying a winning sense of humor that added a down-to-earth charm to her undeniable sultriness, Lopez proved a good fit for heartthrob Clooney, and the two displayed intense onscreen chemistry. Sexiest Scene: We have two words for you: car trunk. They don't sound that sexy, but let me tell you, add J.Lo and George Clooney to the mix and there ain't no place steamier. (The scene's from Out of Sight.) Best Quote: J.Lo on sex to Details magazine: "Really, I still feel like I'm learning. And I'm open to learning more. And I want my partner to be, too. There's always room for improvement, so do not get too comfortable!" We couldn't agree more, Jennifer--we're open to learning more with you! Physical Feature We Love: It's all about the butt. We're fascinated by it, consumed by it and would give anything to touch it. Jennifer's magnificent derriere is worthy of a whole class of poetry all by itself. In Her Future: This year is shaping up to be a busy one in film for J.Lo, who has the opening of Enough to look forward to (she stars as a woman who feels the only way out of her abusive marriage is murder), followed by the heist thriller Gigli, which costars Ben Affleck and will be filmed this year. Finally, she'll portray a modern-day Cinderella in the John Hughes penned The Chambermaid, with production to commence this summer. Plus, an as-yet-untitled album is rumored to be released this fall.
